Waffle House - Austinburg

I am now eating the leftovers of the best grits I have had since moving up here from down South. The lady behind the counter cooking brought me a lot of joy with these bacon and cheese grits. I needed this hole in my life filled. I mooched some of my family's dishes and those were incredible too. The wait staff is kind, warm, and attentive. The grits are heavenly. When I'm getting homesick, I will know where to go. No rating for atmosphere because it's Waffle House. You know what you're getting.

I stopped at this restaurant on my way back to New York from Cleveland and I absolutely loved Angel and Michelle! They were extremely attentive, personable, and just all around great people. I will definitely make a point to stop by again just to see them. The food was served in less than 10 minutes, with hot coffee, cold fountain drinks, and hot food. What more could you ask for? The restaurant offers good food, great service, and reasonable prices.

Always love a good Waffle House all star breakfast, and it always delivers. Service at this location was great in terms of friendliness, but I think they did charge me for something I didn’t get after they served something I hadn’t ordered (they let me eat it anyway). But all in all great!

The restaurant is great during the third shift every night. However, when I arrived late for the first shift, the food was quickly cooked but not prepared correctly. This was not the fault of the chef, but rather the server who seemed unfocused. I was unable to get a refill on my coke and the server did not seem to care. If I cannot make it for the third shift, I probably won't go at all. It's disappointing.
