I specifically asked the woman taking our order if the hamburger buns were warmed up, and she responded, "Yes, we actually toast them." As you might expect, the hamburger bun was cold—very cold, not even at room temperature. I was disappointed. However, the fries were fresh and hot, which saved the experience from being completely frustrating and made it enjoyable. The vanilla milkshake was, as always, excellent.

It would have been better if you had just left the fries out of the bag.

I stopped by this Whataburger on Friday morning and was disappointed, especially given the usual standards. The bacon looked as if it had been cooked the day before, and the scrambled eggs appeared unappetizing, as though the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Whataburger has added some limited-time items to their menu, so I decided to try one tonight—the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. My food arrived quickly, and I noticed they didn’t put quite as many blue cheese chunks on the burger as you might find at a typical restaurant that offers a blue cheese burger, but it was enough. The meal cost $11.90. The burger features two fresh 100% beef patties topped with crispy, smoky bacon, blue cheese, grilled onions, American cheese, Peppercorn Ranch sauce, and fresh chopped lettuce and tomato, all stacked high on a toasted five-inch bun. The Peppercorn Ranch sauce really stood out more than the blue cheese in terms of flavor, but it was tasty. This was a bit different from Whataburger’s usual offerings, which I liked. I had mine with regular onions instead of grilled, and I skipped the tomato. I definitely recommend giving this burger a try while it’s available—you likely won’t be disappointed. I’m also considering trying one of their limited-time chicken sandwiches. Go check it out; I think you’ll enjoy it!

The drive-thru at 3:30 pm was extremely slow. We waited 20 minutes at the window for just one meal, and no one came out to explain the delay. We had no idea if our order was even on its way. Additionally, I ordered a cookie with the meal, but it was forgotten.
