the first time we were here was great. we had a great time and the food and the service was great. in this week eating was a bit cold and the service was not so good. it was super busy on a Tuesday night, so maybe they were under occupation. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The League Kitchen Tavern:
I was disappointed, they focus more on alcoholic drinks than the menu. had not taken care of the choices, very limited and they are somehow expensive. ordered a cup basil tomatensuppe, no cracker served with the suppe, I was told that they did not have cracker, had to be ast? I'm an older woman and the waitress called me mama what I didn't appreciate. (I was there 11/29 '22 at 12 o'clock) that was my first and last t... View all feedback.
Was curious on the FRIED Pork chop with Jalapeño gravy, it was good! If you like jalapeños, give it a try! it’s a tad spicy.
I very very rarely take the time to leave reviews, but we had such an amazing experience here, so I wanted to encourage others to try it. Everything was incredible from the atmosphere and ambience, the friendliness of all the staff, the food was delicious...and they even gave us a complimentary piece of cake because we told them it was our first time there. We'll definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
You know what makes a great restaurant manager? Someone like Nicole at The League. She talked to every customer that I could see, including us at the bar, to make sure everyone was happy. You just dont see that. It is not rocket science, just make sure your customers are satisfied, and the restaurant will be successful. Nice, you rock. Oh, and the bar service rocked and so did the foid!!!
Amazing Taste, very authentic, no wonder this place was full. Drinks were nicely made as well
I tried this place since I've seen the chain several times and the Moonshine Grill across the road was packed with some kind of event going on. I sat at the bar on a Sunday evening and the place was pretty empty with the exception of about 8-10 ppl at the bar. The sound from the football game was very loud over the speakers. I'm not sure if this was just for sunday night football or if it's really just a sport bar that plays the TV's loud. The servers were friendly, put in my order wrong but received my correct order of prime rib sandwich and truffle fries within 10 minutes of the wrong order. The truffle fries tasted more like Parmesan fries, but weren't bad. The rosemary au jus was more like a thin gravy. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, but the ambience was that of a sports bar and the food was not cheap. My sandwich and fries came at $24+ tax, not including the wine I ordered which was not great. I probably won't go back but it would be a good place for people who are looking to watch sports and have food that's a step up from Applebee's.
