The carnitas taco plate is very good with the green cilantro sauce was a winner. But it was the nopales side dish that put it over the top. Never has nopales (a super food) tasted so good...

Ordered fundido and fish tacos, but the highlight was the mezcarita was the highlight!! Smokey sweet with grapefruit, delicious!! I actually knocked it over and broke my glass. They were very kind about it and replaced the drink, no questions asked! Which made me very happy since I was enjoying the drink so much!

I really enjoyed my time at Takoba! The margaritas and guacamole were excellent. The standout brunch dish was the Red Ceviche—absolutely delicious! The acidity was perfectly balanced, allowing the beetroot flavor to shine. I did dock one star because the brunch menu had too many egg-based options; I was hoping for more unique choices. The margaritas were outstanding, and my friends loved the Michelada as well. I’ll definitely be returning and am excited to try the dinner menu next time!

Loved this place! The one side of the restaurant is completely open to the street and includes a cute patio so you can feel the lovely weather in Austin. The seating is self-serve booths and picnic bench tables; you order from their counter and thefood/drinks are delivered to your table. Food was delicious and flavorful; I personally enjoyed the chicken gorditas whichtasted authentic with a slight twist. Their micheledas are huge and spicy; highly recommend if you like bloody marys. Go duringtheir happy hour right after work to get the most bang for your buck!

Their brunch menu was stacked and really not bad on prices! The service was good, you order at the bar so nobody is rushing you or coming over to your table constantly. The queso fundido was enough for 5 people to share for sure....and delicious.
