Stubb's -b-q - Austin

The brisket and the turkey are delicious, we went twice because we liked it too much. We had first the plate with two meats and in the second visit we had the brisket sandwich, and both dishes were delicious, the sides were excellent too, we had mac and cheese and pinto beans

The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. But there was 0 music. No live, none over the speakers. Didn’t expect to overhear everyone’s conversations. Felt awkward. Our server was nice and knowledgeable. But I couldn’t distinguish him from just a random guy off the street or another customer. So that felt a bit too casual. Lastly the food was okay. Pulled pork was tasty, and the appetizer was good. But the other entrees felt like frozen food to me. Super salty, low quality ingredients and low quality meat. Our ribs were basically char and had more than just one bone. It was a cemetery buddy. But the venue is very cool. Lots of space and not too cramped. Outside and inside which seemed on point. Seems like they’re leaning into the music business rather than BBQ.

This place rocks, man. First stop on my first trip to Austin, based solely on local recommendations. It was early lunch so I couldn’t catch a show, but I will definitely be back for the food… and a show if I can time it right!

Came for a private dinner party. What a cool place indoors and outdoors. It will not disappoint. Food was great and a good selection of beer on tap.

Attended a concert here, lines were extremely disorganized and the staff had no idea what was going on. The concert itself was good and the crew was quick and friendly. Just wish they were more informed and were providing accurate information.
