The restaurant offers a wide range of creative pizzas. We tried the Hades and loved the fresh, flavorful taste. The crust was thin and crispy. The customer service was excellent. The restaurant is conveniently located near 183 McNeil. We will definitely be returning. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Spartan Pizza:
The pizza at this restaurant was quite tasty! There was a good amount of cheese on the pizza, and the crust was beautifully chewy. The toppings were well-proportioned and the salad was average. The prices were fair for the quality of the food. I would have ordered it again if they had not forgotten the marinara sauce for the cheese sticks. The marinara game must be on point for a perfect pizza experience! View all feedback.
I was very skeptical about this place due to the prices similar to east side pies I had once. we had the agamemnon, regular pepperoni, garlic cheese sticks, jalapeño ranch. this is the best pizza and the sides I've ever had! hands better than east side pies and worth every cent! I can't expect to try the hercules next. highly recommended to give this place a shot! note: due to an accident at mcneil we ate the pizza slightly cold and it was still great!
I'm a pizza LOVER. This place opened up near my house a while ago and I've been wanting to try it. I ordered a cheese pizza with the Hera salad. I was a little disappointed with the salad as it's supposed to have dried cranberries, candied pecans and onions (I requested no onions). But I felt like I was eating spinach with dressing. The pizza wasn't bad. Personally I prefer the bottom and crust to have a bit of a crisp or mild crunch when I bite into, but it was soft all the way around. Flavor was good, there was a very small hint of sweetness in the marinara sauce but I still ate half the pizza by myself. I know people are divided on ranch with pizza- I am on the ranch side. I was excited to try theirs because the website says made in house. Perhaps it was just the batch I received, but it was not good. The best way to describe it is it tasted like a combination of Ranch and Caesar dressing. I will order again but only their pizza; and hopefully adding more toppings will balance out that bit of sweetness in the marinara.
There is a new pizza place at San Felipe and McNeil where firehouse sandwiches is. I believe it used to be New York Giant Pizza. It’s called Spartan Pizza. I hate to recommend pizza places as it’s so taste dependent. But I really like this one. I’m going to enjoy it as long as I can as I probably will never be able to not say “this is Sparta!” When I come home which at some point it’s going to annoy my wife.
Amazingly delicious pizza and you get what you pay for. I started off by ordering the Medusa pizza. That's the pictures
Had some problems with Grubhub first time we tried it. Gave them a second chance last night. It tasted pretty good but I got food poisoning
