The server who took my order and was at the window was extremely friendly. The chicken strips were superior to those at many other chicken restaurants. The food was piping hot, fresh tasting, and despite a long line when we arrived, we were able to move through quickly and receive our food promptly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Short Stop:
all shortstops must be considered by the health department, no one wears gloves not wash hands they always have a repeat of the places three or four times all shortstops all went down View all feedback.
Short Stop has some the best burgers in town...severely underrated. I hope folks don't catch on because it will be a mile long line jus to eat there.

I watched as a tearful employee prepared my burger, with her hair falling into my food. I politely asked if someone else could make my meal, but she insisted she had just made it. I quickly tossed the burger and left, disappointed that I had paid $8 for such a messy and unappetizing experience.
The best burger in Austin is always made for me by my lady.
Move over everyone, because I'm excited and this restaurant is fantastic. The food was consistently delicious, but the highlight was the sweet tea served by a group of attractive and friendly employees who were all laughing and working well together. This place deserves more recognition. Thank you all for being yourselves, it was a perfect experience.
