The pizza here is good, but the customer service was even better. We were just hoping to get a slice of pizza before calling it a night and didn't expect much. I had their special slice of the day...which had pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños, mushrooms, and peppers. The slice was good and helped with the cravings. Our server was this gentleman that was both attentive and was making jokes with us. He definitely lighten u... View all feedback.
What Emmanuel Harber doesn't like about Salvation Pizza At Rainey:
My review has everything to do with the service. Got ignored?.. twice. Bartender helped a group seconds after they walked in while I had been there patiently waiting for a bit. No one behind the bar acknowledged me. So I had to interrupt and shout over people to get a drink. This place brought out a side of me I didn?t like. Pizza is good. I went to this restaurant for lunch the day after Thanksgiving. I couldn't choose between the wings or the pizza, so I decided to try both. I'm glad I did. The wings I ordered extra crispy in the extra hot sauce were excellent. The slice of pepperoni pizza was New York style with a thin crispy crust, and I highly recommend it. If you're on a budget, ask for the lunch special. This place is also great for watching sports; I watched a football game while I was there.
Great cakes, killersalate and Jess and Mia are amazing! Jess is the best Michelada I ever had! They welcomed a traveler and created a welcoming place to eat.
Located on Rainey St., Salvation Pizza offers large slices of pizza available until midnight on weekdays and weekends. They specialize in the New Haven style pizza, characterized by a thin crust with a satisfying crunch. The pizza tastes delicious and stands out among other pizza slice options in the area. For around $6, you get a huge slice that is well worth the price. When it comes to late-night spots on Rainey St., Salvation Pizza is one of the better options available. Next time you're in the area craving a late-night snack, consider stopping by here. I would rate it 3.75 out of 5 for its tasty offerings and overall value.
Great little spot late open. Pizza was great and you definitely get the money. You also have a pool table, TVs and games. Nice place to just hang around and have good food and drinks.
This restaurant is an amazing spot for lunch or dinner. I recommend the YO! Cobb salad for the lady and pizza for the kids. Follow me on Instagram at @nickeyduke.
