Il s'est avéré le seul restaurant su... read more Nous étions en route pour visiter l'Abbaye Saint-Benoît-du-Lac, une fois sur place nous voulions manger avant notre visite. Il s'est avéré le seul restaurant sur notre route. Je dois avouer avoir eu quelques préjugés en voyant l'endroit, je m'imaginais être tombé sur un vulgaire casse-croute de village... La première surprise fut la qualité du menu, est ensuite venu la qualité du service et, pour terminer, tout le monde a apprécié ce qu'il a mangé! La présentation était soignée, et tout était délicieux! Les fish'n'chips, les frites, le wrap au saumon fumé et le club au canard, ainsi que la tarte au sucre et le brownies!!! Miam!

After waiting for 50 minutes, we got the nachos burnt along with the main course dishes (we explained to... read more We ordered 3 salads, a duck confit sandwich and nachos. After waiting for 50 minutes, we got the nachos burnt along with the main course dishes (we explained to the waiter our desire to have the nachos as an entrée. The salads came with ham instead of chicken and the lettuce was bathing in dressing. They took back the salads and brought them again, but this time, with extra hair (black and curly like pubic hair). The sandwich was a 5 cm end of a baguette filled with old microwaved duck confit that tasted horrendous. When I mentioned to the owner that I was expecting a decent sandwich of at least 10 cm for the price of $17, she mentioned that this is the portion that they serve because of an "increase in the cost of duck meat". We paid each an average of $25 and went somewhere else to have lunch. What a horrible experience!
