This was a really nice place. It 's pretty open and very clean. There 's a bar area and tables for dining inside. I heard there 's an outdoor area as well and a place for kids to play, but we didn 't see that as it was raining. The food is pretty good and they had a huge selection of drinks including beer, wine and spirits. We ordered the fried cod which was very good. The trout was pretty good too and the kids menu... What cheynne hoadley doesn't like about Oasthouse Gastropub:
This place is just okay. Food was creative but won’t blow you away. Cocktails had potential but didn’t hit the mark. Beer list is strong, but expensive. It was a decent vibe, but I expected more for the prices. View all feedback.

Fish and Chips were good (2 pieces). Burger was just okay. The calamari was soggy and very few pieces. I would recommend skipping the calamari. The best part was the service. Will be back and try the brunch menu.
I was excited to try this place, the menu looks amazing and I have wanted to go for sine time now. However the food was overall a disappointment. We started with fried cheese curds, they were overdone and most of the cheese had burst out and they were empty bread shells. I got the chicken schnitzel with spatzle, my schnitzel was pretty thick in some places, cooked through, But just lacked in flavor and was just ok. The spatzle was lacking any flavor at all. My husband ordered the Wagyu steak and ordered it rare plus, it was maybe medium and the outside was burned in places. The potatoes that came with the steak, however, were amazing, creamy on the inside and crisp and perfect on the outside. We likely won’t return, it was very expensive for just an ok meal.
Went for Sunday lunch/brunch. Service was quick and attentive, and the food felt very fresh considering the restaurant isn't crazy expensive. There's also an extensive outdoor playscape and patio for families. Would come again for sure.
Kelly was our wonderful and helpful waitress. The beers were thirst quenching. Food was good. Shepherds pie was good. Burger tasty. Charcuterie board was very tasty but . Great atmosphere. Krista helped us with our meals and the manager Carl even stopped by to make sure we were happy.
