My husband and I made a quick dinner tonight. Everything was amazing! We sat immediately and our server Ashley (I know there are different spellings, so I'm sorry if that's wrong) was very attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. She also picked the food perfectly. I was so excited to give this spot a try, but I was definitely disappointed. We sat at the sushi bar and one of the sushi chefs was talking about how they wished they could have sick leave because he felt like he had COVID. That was a shock to us. Then he made us our nigiri scallop pieces and they were each $6. We watched him make the rolls and they were both 90% rice and only one tiny piece of scallop each. The Elvi... View all feedback.
First time here. There was a bit of wait, so it's best to reserve a table or add to the wait list ahead of time. Great selection of appetizers. The black cod was grilled to perfection. The fatty bluefin tuna was just incredible. There's a great selection of nigiri (though it's odd that there's no crab option, real or otherwise) and rolls. Service was excellent. Sushi was presented beautiful. I'll post some pictures.
This is an amazing, real deal experience that is one of our favorite places to go to regularly. The authenticity and amazing vibe and quality of the food and service is top notch. Just like I’m in Japan! Highly recommended

Visited a few times for dinner over a few weeks. It is not cheap, but it is consistently the best uncomplicated sushi in Austin, IMO. Relaxing atmosphere, generally good service. Last time we were there on a busy Friday and our waitress got a bit overwhelmed and never delivered one of our articles and tried to burden us with a supervision they corrected no problem.
We've been here for years. Fresh fish. Friendly service. No place comes close.
