What LifeOf X doesn't like about Maki Toki:
DO NOT eat here there was an actual dead roach in my wife's food that's sickening instantly lost my appetite and didn't even want to touch my plate I'm sure it came from the same pot! View all feedback.
Not the usual Japanese restaurant you go to. Pretty unusual combinations of makis of all kinds. The lack of illustrations on the menu makes it harder to choose.Overall it was good and funnily makis come in 8 pieces units instead of the usual 6. Service is good and attentive. Place was quiet and only few people inside. You can watch the news on two TVs that have subtitles.This place is quite ok once you’ve analysed it’s menu ;
New fav sushi place! They staff was so nice and friendly and the rolls were incredible!Food: 5/5
Stopped in for lunch and it was pretty good! Got some rangoons and the sushi burrito. Not bad portions or flavor for the price.
This family Owen sushi restaurant is the best in Austin. Excellent customer service, and it's the perfect place to have a date night, catch up with friends or spend time with family
Took my son there here tonight, since he received student of the month at his elementary school.We halved a Chicken Katsu bento box, Yummy hand roll, and shrimp tempura. All exactly $30 before tip. Not bad. We 're both full.He said this place beat his favorite 'Golden Corral '. That 's a bold statement for a 11 year old.Waitress was very nice and eager to please.Kid-friendliness: Owner and staff more than likely have kids of their own. You can always tell
