So wild flavors like Beet/Mint or bourbon peach cobbler and a few others. The Small two scoops is more than enough and I even enjoyed the test taste as it challenges the palette. With lavender, cilantro lime, goat cheese or just a very good vanilla. View all feedback.
Always new and unique flavors. Handmade vanilla and chocolate waffle cones and great mix ins. You can't go wrong with any choice here. They also have a decent selection of soda. Right by Mueller Park. Grab a cone and sit by the lake. Be careful if you get a waffle cone. They start to get soggy as the ice cream melts. Staff is always super friendly. Only downside is picking a flavor, its impossible to choose just one. Love the lavender ice cream here. Also vegan options!
I got red velvet and egg nog, let me tell you, it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s so rich, creamy, the portions are huge! Great to share, tons of unique options, vegan friendly options, economical great prices. Can’twait to come back.
Lick is a cute chain right next to Buffalina Due hence why we went. The flavors were cool and different. I had the goat cheese, thyme, honey and it was actually very good. It was nice and creamy and it isn’t something I would normally get but wasn’t disappointed. The brown butter brown sugar on the other hand was pretty mild and not a whole lot of flavor. It’s a cool place and if you are near one you can certainly give it a try.

I had a magical ice cream experience because of 1 part delicious flavors and 1 part STELLAR customer service! You can have a great brand name and an awesome product, but if the people that represent the brand are rude and unprofessional, their customer service will leave a bad taste in the mouths of the patrons no matter how yummy the ice cream is. I’m sharing this because I went to this location of Lick several days ago and I had the best ice cream experience of my life and it was all because of Jessica! When I arrived, there was a long line almost out the door and she was the only person working. But Jessica was cool, calm, collected, and friendly. She didn’t make anyone feel rushed to order, she smiled genuinely, she wasn’t huffing and puffing, or rolling her eyes, or having a breakdown. She was doing her job and she was doing it so well! After about 30 minutes of waiting in line it was my turn to order. I would’ve honestly waited two hours for this ice cream experience because of how pleasant Jessica was. I felt compelled to tell her that SHE is the reason why people were willing to wait in line for their ice cream. She made people feel comfortable and welcomed and that helped ease all of our anxiousness about waiting. She answered everyone’s questions and she didn’t make anyone feel like they were inconveniencing her. We live in very bizarre times, but it’s people like Jessica who share their magic with the world and it genuinely makes you feel good! This is a priceless characteristic! Jessica isn’t the owner of the Lick Ice Cream Co., but she was more poised, pleasant, and professional than most business owners I’ve ever interacted with. I am so happy that I had a craving for some delicious ice cream that night so I could be reminded of what good quality of character looks like. I don’t know if the owners or managers or whoever will read this, but I could not let another day go by without leaving this stellar review for Jessica at the Lick ice cream shop on Burnet in Austin, Texas!
