Lamppost Coffee - Austin
Lamppost Coffee
Description
At this café, patrons can enjoy a range of coffee options, with standout selections like the hot Lamba Latte and specialty cold brews earning high praise for their flavor and quality. The ambiance is cozy, providing an inviting space for work or relaxation. While the staff are noted for their exceptional hospitality, some guests report inconsistencies in service, particularly during busy times. Menu offerings outside of coffee, such as breakfast items, have seen cuts, which may limit choices for food lovers. Overall, the café is a welcoming spot with great potential for coffee enthusiasts seeking a friendly environment.

The coffee at this place is fantastic, especially the specialty coffee with a quarter of the sweetness. However, the staff is inattentive and not very welcoming, which is the only downside. Other than that, everything else is pretty good.
The restaurant offers average food at the same price as other places. If you are not in a rush, I would recommend exploring other options to find a place with better coffee.
The Latte at this restaurant is pretty good. The smoothie is okay, but it's hard to go wrong with that. However, the pour-over coffee lacks strength in its beans, making for a tasteless experience. It's disappointing because the potential for great coffee is clearly there.
Coffee is good but if you want to have breakfast then look elsewhere. They no longer have breakfast tacos which now makes their selection of food significantly worse compared with the most popular chain. They do have a couple of gluten-free baked items. The place is pretty empty every time I've come in which could be a plus but there's not much of an atmosphere
While I love lamp post coffee, I don't love a 20 minute wait in a drive-through for one cup of coffee! And the drive-through window every time it opens it smells like mold! Like you just walked into an aquarium! And the order is messed up on a regular . Come on lamp post step it up
