Very good Italian restaurant one of the best in Austin. Great design in a small and comfortable environment. My wife is a denominator of Carbonara and La Traviata has the best she ever had better than she had during a two-week trip to Italy. View all feedback.
I would say that the food is VERT tasty. I never had such a tasty carbonara (withour cream please). It is a familial restaurants so they out their hearts into their food. The server we had was rude, but ut was quickly forgotten after having our dishes. I will definetely hit back there whenever I am in Austin!!
Authentic Italian Restaurant with delicious food and awesome Drinks. I had a great time here with my wife cause that day i had my 1st Anniversary and she likes Italian Food. Staff was very kind and helpful and they gave us complementary Appetizer.
Very good Italian restaurant one of the best in Austin. Great design in a small and comfortable setting. My wife is a conniseur of Carbonara and La Traviata has the best that she has ever had even better than she had during a two week trip to Italy.
We made reservations here after we watched the bats at the Congress Avenue bridge. The service was great and our food delicious. I ordered the Zucchini Salad and the Salmon with lentils as a main course. Both were great. My husband ordered the polenta appetizer and at the recommendation of our server the mushroom pasta. They were both great but the polenta was spectacular! Our one complaint is that you pay extra for bread.....really! Seems like it should be included for the price of a meal.
My boyfriend took me to his favorite Italian restaurant during our early dating stage where he raved about their Spaghetti Carbonara nonstop! This place is very intimate and romantic with both indoor bar and table seating in an average noisy environment. We started off with beef carpaccio, my first encounter with raw beef at an Italian restaurant, and it was fantastic with great flavors! We both had the Carbonara as I had to see for myself what all the fuss (technically his fuss) was about! The dish came out hot with an egg nestled in a bed of angel hair pasta. The egg is halfway cooked as it will settle and cook when you mix it within the pasta itself. It was heavenly satisfying and delicious! The staff is friendly and our waitress was excellent! I highly recommend.
