We tried a few things, including tuna collars. Some were pretty good, but some of them did not match our taste. The dishes are definitely very merged. I liked the fish tempura, broccolini and corn most. The tuna was fine, but for my taste something to smoke. The service was very friendly and the whole food came relatively fast. View all feedback.
This place is a must! A beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. I wasn't sure what to expect from this fusion restaurant, but it was a great experience. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful when we tried to order. My food partner said this was the best brisket he ever had in his life... And that says a lot. Unfortunately, I couldn't have it because it had almonds.
We ate our first night in Austin and enjoyed every bite. We were not too sure what to expect with the Japanese -TX BBQ Fusion, but fear not, everything was delicious. We got the brisket and made it a Bento box style and were not disappointed. As soon as the crates came out and then were undisturbed, and the steam was only clogged from inside and wore the appalling scent of what was to come. We appreciate the patience of our waiter, who explains all the sauces, tastes, and how to mix everything together. I highly recommend eating here.
What a perfect fusion of Texas and Japanese food! Everything we ordered was so dang good! We also got the Mango Sala which was delish! Perfectly sweet and spicy. We left mentally and physically happier. I love the ambience too. Can’t wait to go back!
Flavor: A Service: A Cocktail: B Solo dining: C What an experience! Unique flavors at every turn. Even as a not-the-most-adventurous-eater, I loved all of it. Take some server 's recommendations and get a slew of plates for your table to share. We finished with the brisket bento box and made many delicious tacos but couldn 't finish it all!
Overall great food and drinks! Come for their happy hours on weekdays before 6:30pm, especially with a big group so you can try everything. Our group made it for happy hour and basically bought out the whole happy hour menu. Very worth it. I loved the unusual dishes with exotic food whereas my friends liked the more typical appetizers. Drinks were really good and fun! I'd want to come back and check out their other food options that aren't just appetizers or happy hour.
