I usually don't write an evaluation until the place is really good. we went to our jubilee dinner and we were greeted with roses on the table and a card signed by whole team. That was sweet. eating was amazing and the service was great. at the end we got a free whisper. many thanks to j Carver’s View all feedback.
What Mari R doesn't like about J Carver:
It was our first time and probably last time!!!! We were kinda forced all the time to order the most from the menu. It was not pleasant. Also, our main course turned out to something else that we did not expect. So disappointed!! View all feedback.

Could not have asked for a better evening. Gina was a fantastic server who made excellent recommendations on wine and food. The service was attentive, but not hovering, and the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. The food was excellent.
Table was nicely done. Food was very good. Service was mediocre. We ordered drinks first thing but it took quite a while to get the drinks served to us. I presume the waiter failed to submit the ticket, or the bar lost our ticket, or some such. Not a good way to start off an expensive meal. Service was mixed. The kitchen staff served the food hot and timely, which was appreciated. They also kept our water glasses filled, which was awesome. On the other hand, the waiter 's service is the reason I judged the restaurant 's service only fair. The waiter was impatient and not attentive. We 've eaten at the sister restaurant and understood how the menu worked. When I tried to ask the waiter specific questions about certain items on the menu, he declined to engage with me. Instead, unsolicited, he recited the menu to us like an automaton. Our slightest delay or hesitation in speech caused him to announce that he could come back later. He definitely did not come back to the table often enough to address our needs or requests. So when he did show up close to the end of the meal, I asked for the check so that I could start the payment process without additional unnecessary delay due to his absence. Two hours of this service is enough for us. All in all, nice atmosphere, good drinks and food, and a wonderful support staff.
