I’ve never had a bad experience here from the time I was a child. Great food, fun atmosphere, and great service. It now holds a very special place in my heart because my husband and I stopped by on our wedding day to have a beer—dress and all! View all feedback.
What Kelli Carroll doesn't like about Güero's Taco:
The appetizers were very good the guacamole was fresh and flavorful the queso fundido with chorizo was delicious too. Now for the tacos?. We?ll they needed more flavor and the chicken taco was dry. The Al pastor was like I have never seen before. The taste was really off. The fish was very bland . I wasn?t impressed. I?d go back for the apps and drinks. View all feedback.
Pretty inviting outdoor space with a stage for bands, shaded seating a bar and a taco window. Loved the atmosphere, even if it was something touristic. I'd look back by listening to music like I did last night, even if only for a quick 30 minutes drink and taco to enjoy the mood.
You can't visit Texas without having Mexican food. We chose a dinner with family and friends. The selection of foods was plentiful and the service was really good. Our waitress was exceptional, friendly and attentive. We had a big group, so I didn't get all meals, what would be? ve was really weird. Lol. But I got our plates. The Brisket taco was amazing! I wouldn't get the fish taco back. The brisket was really soft and very tasteful. The fish taco lacked any real taste, but the fish in itself was delicious. The tamales came together with beans and cheese in a range of meat. I wouldn't get the bean and cheese. it seemed to be missing any real taste or taste. The chips and salsa that came before the meal were delicious! That could be because we all starved. The atmosphere is very lively and you can talk without fear that someone is listening to your conversations. The waiter was excellent! He made sure everyone felt comfortable and got everything he ordered. It was refreshing to have such a service. If you re in the area, I would suggest stopping to try the food choices themselves. it is also a good way to get out of the heat!
Follow this place after the movie boss. Loved the mood and music. The garden area is outside and not connected to the restaurant. So if there was a long waiting period (which we did not have) I would suggest waiting in the garden and ordering and listening to the amazing margaritas, some live music. We order the quesadilla (with add ons) Taco Al Pastor and Alambres. The dip and the sidebar were a good addition.
Was in the area and went for Happy Hour. The Margaritas house is $5 in Happy Hour. Jalapeño margarita wasn't very sharp. Free chips and salsa flight were most places no longer offered. Al Pastor taco and tamale were both big and very expensive. The staff changed the layers so that everyone was hurried to order food and/or pay their tabs. As an industrial person, I have never experienced this, especially in the middle of the happy hour felt somehow abandoned and was not sure if I would get the food I was rushed to order since the bartender layer was over and abandoned. Probably a better service at a table.
I just visited this super fun taco bar because the front bar was so unique with old worn heavy board flooring and the walls were covered with an eclectic compilation of old pictures of Mexican culture and plants and western everything else. I saw the Mauro Plato dish on the menu and was very interested in this very cheesy looking meal. It looked fantastic and it was beyond delicious. It comes with a choice of meat. I chose chicken. Service was speedy and friendly.
