It has been over a month since I visited Austin, and, subsequently, visited First Wok. I still think about it. It was so good that my friends and I frequently confide in each other that we still think about that divine cuisine. If you are considering visiting Austin, please go. I beg of you. I called to get an orange beef to go, and it was definitely not what I expected. There’s big chunks of beef which is nice, but there was no batter whatsoever, which is weird because it says it on the menu that it’s deep fried. The beef on it is huge, and it looked like beef that you would find in a stew. The beef is sadly quite tough, and lots of it got stuck between my teeth. Not enjoyable, but maybe I’ll come back...
