Fat Daddy's Chicken - Austin

The owner of this restaurant is irresponsible, mishandling food and drinking beer while cooking. They were out of most items on the menu and when I paid for my meal, the owner got angry because of the limited stock. A family member came out from behind the counter with dirty gloves on, showing a lack of preparation and professionalism. There are also allegations of illegal activity happening in the restaurant. Overall, I would not recommend eating at this establishment due to their unpreparedness and unsanitary practices.

As an Uber driver, I have noticed that this restaurant is permanently closed. They are deceiving customers on Uber Eats by accepting payments without providing any service. Avoid ordering from this establishment. Furthermore, the location is not in a safe area of town.

Fat Daddy's is currently deceiving customers through Uber Eats. They have 5 locations listed for pick-up orders, but all of them direct to 1075 Springdale. This location is empty, and I spoke with the owner who is subleasing it to the scammers. They are taking money for orders and claiming they are ready, but there is no one present at the location.

Service was friendly. Catfish was dry and hard. Mac and cheese, fries and greens were delicious. For the price we paid, I'd go elsewhere. Disappointed

My first time going there, i was getting dinner for my dad. He was pleased with his dinner he gave it two thumbs up. I will be back due to his liking. NOTE* MY DAD HARD TO PLEASE. I suggest if you haven't tried give it a try
