The property I live at hosted one of their food trucks today. Decided to try it out since it was at the front office. I ordered the Manera burger and fries. I must say it was very good! The fries were a little too salty for my taste but the hamburger was on point! Thank you for coming out far south ATX! View all feedback.
What Chris Rojas doesn't like about Downtown Burgers:
Food truck near the Austin Convention Center. Very reasonable prices. I ordered an Onion Ring Burger, came with onion rings, cheese, jalapeños, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, mustard and ketchup. Very delicious and very flavorful. You can make a combo and get fries for $2 or $3 onion rings. I also had an horchata. They have a card reader, tap friendly as well for anyone not carrying cash. Delicious messy burgers. I recommend anything with jalapeños.
No frills, just good burgers! Fries are not bad, burgers are great. Good grilled taste with fresh (actually fresh) lettuce and tomato...Pick your toppings. $10 for 1/2 pound burger, fries and soda. Sit outside at picnic tables under a shade tent (no indoor seating and they only have burgers and fries). Directly across the street from the convention center. If you are at a conference and want a good burger, this is the place to go.
The patties are fresh and never frozen and you can definitely taste the difference.
Great little stop for burgers when you're at the convention center nearby. The service was very friendly, and the outdoor seating was a good way to spend lunch.
