I order the sides, I like the many options, don't care too much of their main food. The area is sketchy, but inside, the staff is friendly, and the place is clean. I also like that it's not crazy busy during lunch. All the sides you see was $27.43,including a water bottle, they were all the smallest size.

This isn 't 'craft ' BBQ. This isn 't 'artisan ' by any stretch. It 's probably not going to be on any of the BBQ lists you 'll see for food tourism in Austin. And that 's ok. Donn 's fills a niche. The niche is simple. Provide food, especially on the go, to the everyday Joe. If you 're a working person, you 'll appreciate the efficiency of the service and the early opening hours. There 's a huge menu of tacos, BBQ, burgers, and even a chicken fried steak. There 's indoor dining and a walk-up window. I 've had both breakfast tacos and a brisket sandwich here. The servings are generous and while not gourmet, they 're filling and satisfy your cravings for BBQ or tacos. They 've also got excellent iced tea and a full condiment bar. This is a great option for a satisfying, yet efficient, breakfast or lunch.

Expensive foe under cooked and not what I expected at all : Burger was supposed to have brisket on top. There was no BBQ sauce either :

Visited on a whim, because we were there late in the day they were out of many of the meats they normally carry. We were able to order brisket, ham and chopped chicken. The chicken didn't hit the spot for us, the brisket was pretty good, the ham was fantastic. To be fair, their menu is extensive and we barely scratched the surface. They also have a variety of bottled drinks.

We ordered pork rib plate and Chicken Fried steak plate. The quantity was good. Food was hot and tasty. We loved the pork ribs . Chicken steak was little dry and the white sauce was little bland but otherwise the food was great. The sides were also amazing specially the Spanish rice .
