This place is simply put a gem in Austin. The creativity of the food, the personable staff, the chef’s complex dishes with layers of flavors and imagination... they are hands down my favorite spot in Town View all feedback.
What Ellen doesn't like about Counter 3. Five. Vii:
We made a reservation through OpenTable and even provided our credit card information, but we did not receive a confirmation. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. OpenTable should remove this restaurant from their listings and not require a credit card for confirmation when the restaurant is not operational. View all feedback.
Arrived to find the restaurant had permanently closed a week earlier. My reservation had been made 1 day before arrival, so the restaurant is continuing to accept reservations (with a credit card number) even after closing.
Presentation, ambiance, and seating was the only thing that was good. Food was not spectacular. Pork was over cooked and tough. For the price I paid, I expected better food. The watermelon in the salad was old, like it sat out for a few days. I was very disappointed. Dessert was the only good thing about the food.

Excellent. The wine pairing was the perfect touch! We love this place.
The only thing that I think could have some improvement was the wine pairing.
