I 've been coming here off and on since my early college days and it have never changed. Conans has remained VERY good pizza, very high quality and worth the 'gourmet pizza ' price you pay to eat there. They serve the best deep dish pizza I 've ever had (I strongly suggest the Savage sans anchovies). These guys really know what they 're doing! Don 't forget the beer; the Savage is quite delicious with some Shiner Bac... View all feedback.
What Khalid Blick doesn't like about Conans Pizza North:
I wanted to like this place. I *really* did. Walking in and see the video games (Area 51! My favorite! , and seeing Star Wars playing on the TV--this place is calling my name. There are multiple seating areas, some elevated, some on the regular floor, and some toward the back. Keeps the restaurant from having massive noise. We ordered a deep dish pizza and a thin crust. We didn't mind the wait--fresh pizza is always... View all feedback.
Definitely one of my favorite pizza places. I do enjoy these themed pizza places with thought put into the menu and the decor. I am a fan of the art and the neat layout with lots of beautiful hard polished wood and hidden booths. The pizza is good. I am a huge fan of deep dish when done right, and Conan's does not disappoint. It is a wonderful, fluffy dough and isn't under done after cooked that some deep dishes tend to be. The cheese pull is one of my favorite things about this pizza. The sauce flavor and amount is not my favorite, but it didn't ruin it for me at all. And the cheese bread, is a wonderful surprise, for the price it was well more than I anticipated. I wish I had been told about the buffet option as I would have loved to have tried it if only for how great the salads look. I will be back to try it next time. The beer selection is another pleasant surprise. A good selection. One of my favorite, but silly things, is the type of ice. Those small ice chips are my weak spot. We enjoyed our first visit and the second was just as great. This is will probably be a routine pizza stop for us.

In my opinion Conans is the best place to grab a vegan pie in all of Austin. The deep dish with daiya will satisfy any vegan's craving. It's also reasonably priced, the medium deep dish is $12.99 and it's definitely enough to split with a friend.
Totally forgot about Conans Pizza. After jumping on the intermittant fasting fad, deep dish Savage is a heavenly way to break my fast.
Conan's pizza (south) was my high school hang out. A rite of passage as many of us had our first jobs there. And when we all had our first apartments Conan's was our Saturday night hang cheap pitcher and a great pie. Now that I'm over 40, married and on the north side of austin Conan's is still my go to. When family comes into town, meeting up with friends, or a date night. All you could want is at Conan's. A cold pitcher a damn good pie. Conan's still is a magical place On earth as it is in Austin.
