I absolutely loved the food and service! Everything was always served quickly, and the meals were fresh. I could easily go for lunch and make it back to work on time. I'll definitely return when I'm back in Texas. The only downside is that the parking lot is quite limited. View all feedback.
What Jadyn Krajcik doesn't like about Beto's Mexican:
This review only covers their pastor tacos, as I didn’t try anything else. The meat lacked flavor and had bits that I had to pull out. The tortillas were decent. After adding cilantro, onions, lime, and salsa, it was acceptable. I spent just over $11 for three tacos. View all feedback.
I really enjoy barbecue tacos, and I absolutely love that they are made with fresh tortillas.
Their phone number is no longer in service, which raises concerns about their organization as a business. We dined there and were the only patrons, yet they refused to refill our water and didn't check in on us at all. It was quite unusual.
The woman I interacted with today was incredibly friendly and highly professional!
The food quality is pretty decent, prices for entrees range between $13 and $22. They do have free chips and salsa, it's tasty, but pretty hot. Would be nice if there were maybe a milder version option. The food is your very standard Tex-Mex/ American Mexican food. Enchiladas, tacos, taquitos, Chile relleno. They have some fancier, shrimp etc. Dishes. They are perhaps more expensive than what I quoted aboveIf you get a beer, even one of the can/bottled 12 oz ones you're going to spend around $6. There is no draught beer here. The service is mixed. On the one hand, pretty decent service. On the other hand, went in there one time exactly an hour before close and they said that the dining room was no longer available even though there were people in there eating and it was an hour until their closing time on the door. I asked what time they closed to verify, the time on the door was correct. I don't think getting there an hour before close is recent to turn someone away. Pretty frustrating on that end.Atmosphere is very low end diner. Overall, a pretty decent place to eat as long as you don't get there too late, otherwise you might get turned away. Would have given this place 4+ ? If they hadn't sent me home an hour before close.
Homemade corn tortillas on the weekends, not sure about M-F. Traditional tex mex, menudo and barbacoa on the weekends. The juevos a la Mexicana were good, lots of big pieces of onion, tomato amd jalapeno. The salsa were both awesome. Mexican style potatoes, not deep froed which is also nice! Vegetarian options: Cactus, eggs beans potatoes are all available as tacos not sure about other offerings.
