this is a decent option if they are looking for something on this page of austin. the Bbq sandwich is okay, but it tastes more like a sloppy sweat (not necessarily a bad thing.) the boilers are good. the pommes are mediocre. the pumpkin cake is great. fyi the veggie burger is fried in the same oil as the meat products when that is something they avoid. They have changed their vegan queso to a cashew based queso and it is the best
The breakfast isn't bad, but it's not good. Vegan doesnt mean bland. As far as the burger goes, dont waste your money. The seedy, tasteless blob of whatever they put on is lacking in texture, flavor, and consistency. Quite possibly the worse vegan or veggie burger I've had in my life. Been vegan for almost a decade and I'd rather choke down the potato burgers from the dollar tree freezer than eat another kirby lane veggie burger. Straight up nasty. DO BETTER.
I tried the vegan breakfast. The pancakes were amazing and so was the scramble. The service was also wonderful.
The cashew queso here could be the best queso I had. the fried tacos (made vegan) were just okay
