As a group of 25 (12 adults, 13 kids from 7 to 17) we went to Al Dente twice. The 2nd time was because the Delta had forgotten to book our tables and Al Dente managed to squeeze us in with 24 hours notice. We had a brilliant evening both times Margot (who also runs le Panoramic) looked after us really well. The food is great and we ended up spending about €20/head inc lots of wine. We will be back in 2018! View all feedback.
What Gilles Moulin doesn't like about Le Panoramic:
Accommodating staff, good pizzas, but limited atmosphere and got our order wrong: missed the bruschetta completely and ham on one of our margarita pizza when we complained they took it away and returned it having picked the meat off (there were some bits of ham remaining) and luckily this wasn't for a vegetarian non pork eater. Good value though and we enjoyed the wine. View all feedback.
We were in town after the Tour de France. If you’re staying here, there are very few options for dinner. We decided to try Al Dente since there was no other viable option at 8pm. First, it took the waiter more than 20 minutes just to give us a menu. He then rushed us to order and then forgot what we ordered and had to come back. Two of us had the pasta, which was borderline inedible. One of the other guys in our party ordered steak that was covered with fat and lukewarm gritted. When we asked for another round of drinks, the waiter snapped at us and said we should finish what we have first and then we sat for 15 minutes with empty glasses. The icing on the cake (or lack of) was we had two dogs stuffing their noses in our crotches while trying to eat the dog food we were fed. Perhaps we should have swapped bowls!!! Avoid this place and head down the mountain to Modane.
The restaurant kindly fed two starving cyclists who had just riden over mont cenis with a lovely pasta lunch it was much appreciated
At this restaurant you feel always welkomed. The staff is always makin sure that you feel good. The food is great. The pizza is super . It is something that you have to try .

Situated on the join of blue and green runs so whole family could meet for lunch. Great hot chocolates and crepes with lovely views down the valley.
