My wife and I were excited to try a new place for our date night, and regret trying Ted's Montana Grill. We arrived to no host, so checked in with the cashier at the bar who sent us back to the empty host stand. Eventually a host appeared and sat us pretty promptly. We then sat for over 20 minutes without a single employee acknowledging us. We checked back in with the host who told us someone would be over soon. A server stopped by 10 minutes later on his way elsewhere and said he would be right back with pickles(? , and then didn't show up again for at least another five minutes. Nobody introduced themselves as our server, nobody mentioned that they would be with us soon, and nobody even acknowledged let alone apologized for the wait. We never received water or any service whatsoever. At that point we got up and left. All the while we saw an apparent manager walking the floor, checking in with people who already had their food.Over thirty minutes of waiting with zero acknowledgement while we sat getting hungry and thirsty is just not acceptable. We drove two minutes to Lazy Dog, were seated immediately, and had an appetizer within 5 minutes.We won't be back.

The food is overpriced and nowhere near as good as it used to be. My filet wasn’t a filet, looked more like a small ribeye, was only about 1 inch thick. A filet should be at least 3 inches thick. Asked for a medium cook and got well done. Onion rings were cold and so were the mashed potatoes. For a $100 meal between two people, I expect a lot better quality and to get the steak I paid $42 for. Won’t be going back and won’t recommend.

I rated 4/5 stars only because we ordered chips and dip that cost $10, and we received a basket full of bottom of the bag chips. They were broken or just crumbs. My cheeseburger and fries were delicious. My husband enjoyed the bison brisket. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.

Can't go wrong with Ted's Southlands. Great food, nice atmosphere. The food server was very new. Had to assist her in opening wine bottle. Food service skills were good. She struggled with alcohol brands. Her attitude was great, attentive. Very nice personality.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps in, out, or in the dining area.
