What User doesn't like about Rolling Smoke Bbq:
In the last few weeks they were from Fries every time. So I started calling forward. Today our jubilee, so we decided to go to our favorite place, called right before our departure and they said they had Pommes. You have to say they're out and the person who has a head of us, the last batch. Why didn't you tell me you were ALMOST? Why don't you buy more pommes? always run out of them? Got two meat platter of brisket and honey bourbon sausage with side of smoked Mac and cheese and smoked collard greens. Fast service. Photo shows after I eat half. Lots of food. Great smoke ring on the brisket. Not a big collard green fan but I liked these. The smoked Mac and cheese very tasty. Sausage good and a large portion but probably should have picked another meat. Highly recommend.
We ordered a rib plate, 1/2 rack, and 2 pulled pork sliders, with smoked mac and cheese, jalapeño corn bread, and French frys. We were there around 5:45pm, the French frys were the only thing that was hot. Everything else was lukewarm, which makes me wonder when it was cooked and how long it had been sitting. Overall, the food had a nice taste but it would have been really good if the food was hot. We ended up taking it home and throwing it in the microwave.
The only thing worth getting are the burnt ends. One in our group threw away the coleslaw (super sour- no sweetness) and the Mac Cheese (very dry no flavor). Some in our group got rib tips are 4 stars. Brisket was dry.Probably won’t come back but if so only for burnt ends.Food: 3/5
Food was catered to a family function I went to, everything was terrible, The brisket was not fully cooked, the beans tasted like regular canned beans, the Mac and cheese was just pasta no flavor , but looked cheesy, but tasted disgusting, the greens had no flavor and tasted like they just threw them in the pot for a couple minutes, the ribs wasn’t it , I and several others threw our whole plate away, such a disappointment, cause I really wanted some good soul food and it didn’t happen. I would never recommend this place to cater cause apparently bulk orders they can not do , I cook better in my kitchen
I picked this up for my friend and she said it was amazing. I didn't like that when I was purchasing my food The guy at the register asked me if I was going to leave a tip. I felt very put on the spot and kind of like he was demanding I leave a tip. I felt very uncomfortable. For that reason alone I will not be returning.Food: 5/5
