McDonough 's Pub is best described by one phrase: dive bar. In fact, after coming here I have to say this might be the epitome of dive bars. The Good: Prices are CHEAP! Less than $40 for approximately 8 drinks. Daamn! Live music appears to be offered on the regular! Yasss! TONS of TVs. Making this a great game day destination! Five stars is a bit over the top for a dive bar, but McDonough's came through in the clutch two nights in a row. Labor Day evening, not many places open near my hotel but McDonough's was. Had a gin and tonic and hamburger while sitting on the patio enjoying the evening air. Hamburger was good-sized and juicy, fries were perfect.
