Dairy Queen Store - Aurora

I have always loved DQ! The Oreo blizzards are amazing! The people there are always friendly and patient.Parking: Plenty of space to park anywhere!Kid-friendliness: There is a picnic table or two around the back with a little gazebo type thing above it. Kids can sit there and eat with their parents.

Beware- under new ownership! We took the old DQ for granted. This is no longer worth the money. Aside from various machines being down (no slushie or choc/vanilla swirl, for example), the portions are smaller and less quality. The ice cream goes maybe 2 inches over the cone, if that, not like before where it was a tower. The blizzards are well below the rim, not overflowing as they once were. And the ice cream itself is not thick like it used to be, it's more airy. Not terrible, but tastes more like the low calorie slow churn kind and not rich and indulgent. Also, the blizzards are poorly mixed and low on the add in flavors. Just a few crumbs in the cookies and cream, and the choco brownie extreme had huge swaths of vanilla running through it.?

Our first stop of the year it was so good! We enjoyed a chocolate shake, a Reese blizzard and a turtle blizzard. Stop in and enjoy something cold and tasty!

Y’all are nuts. It take an easy 20+ minutes to get your ice cream because of how busy they are. No drive thru, limited parking, lots of standing around. Great for if you want to make it a memory, but horrible if you want to grab and go.

My favorite ice cream shop around. The staff that works here is super friendly and they keep the store clean. I love the fast service they provide and everything they serve here is delicious ???
