Ac's Pub - Aurora
Ac's Pub
Description
AC's Pub offers a newly remodeled, lively spot with friendly bartenders, solid comfort classics (steak sandwiches, Reubens, wings) and popular events like bar bingo. Service is often warm and efficient, regulars and patio dogs are welcomed, and the atmosphere is entertaining. However, management inconsistency and rigid seating policies can frustrate families with infants, and seafood preparations have been hit-or-miss. A good choice for drinks and social nights, but expect occasional culinary and service inconsistencies.

I’ve been going here for years — always loved it. But now my dog is blind, can’t get out much. Not only did they allow my dog in the patio but the service and everything was far more than I could asked for amazing service! Great place to be! Great drinks! Everyone here is so nice! Loved every moment! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered the fish fry combo featuring cod and shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp was slightly overcooked, and the cod didn't have the flavor I typically look for in a fish fry. My partner also felt that the fish was lacking in taste. Overall, I was disappointed with the meal. On a positive note, the atmosphere, service, and older clientele were nice, and the entertainment was enjoyable. I might consider coming back, but not for the fish fry.
I was quite disappointed by the lack of hospitality at this restaurant. The staff did not seem accommodating, particularly since we had a 10-month-old baby with us. Before we even entered, a staff member informed us of an entire section of the restaurant where we were not allowed to sit. Then, another staff member told us we couldn't sit on the opposite side either because they had trivia going on and "people usually sit there to play," despite that area being completely empty and not reserved. Unfortunately, our baby had to miss dinner for her grandmother's birthday because there was no available seating that fit the restaurant's restrictions. This was our first visit, and it will definitely be our last.
