This small inconspicuous restaurant will truly delight you. The owner prepares all the food himself and you can tell by the quality, ambiance and presentation that this is a " labour of love" . Unbelievably Gabriel is not a trained chef rather he tells the story of leaving a lifetime trade to do exactly what he wanted to. Entrees range from beef to chicken to fish and more. The salads are crisp and zesty and deserts... View all feedback.
What Anouk Barthelemy doesn't like about Gabriel's Cafe:
Small menu, but everything is home-made. Most are from recipes handed down from his grandmother. Best is to serve family style. The only draw back is you have to check if they are open or not. View all feedback.
Don't plan your choice ahead of time, Gabriel' choices each day can vary, but there are no bad codices, only great ones......a culinary delight
Four of us had lunch at Gabriel's. Fortunately we had a reservation as it was very busy. Each of us ordered a different item from the menu & everyone was impressed with their selection . Delicious onion soup, great food & great service.
Gabriel's Café is a great place for French bistro style cuisine. Quality food, cozy atmosphere, great service and prices. Gabriel's menu, available in French or English is simple but always very tasty. You want a taste of great everyday French (belgium to be more specific) cuisine. Plan your next lunch at Gabriel's Café.
We've come for lunch a few times, and decided to pop in yesterday. The french onion soup was delicious and my husband loved it. My quiche had a delectable cheese filling with a crisp, flaky crust. The salad was refreshing, with a nice homemade dressing. My husband enjoyed his peameal bacon sandwich so much we're planning to visit the tent at the Aurora Farmers Market on Saturday to have another one! I wanted to have the rhubarb pie for dessert, I'm pretty sure it's excellent, but was too full. Next time...
