That being said, I selected this place a... read more As an English person and former owner of a chip shop in England, I am quite discerning when it comes to fish and chips. That being said, I selected this place as my top choice for fish and chips (and mushy peas!) in Aurora and Newmarket. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the service was good. My only small complaint is that as an English person, I prefer slices of bread and butter with my meal. A dinner roll just doesn't quite cut it for a proper chip butty!

How this place has stayed opened for decades beats me. Captains George must own the building because there's no way that these people make enough money to make rent let alone a living
