The chips/ions were very hard, the food had a taste of old oil. The staff was very rude for a cousin who, after the decision to close, would want order food. The toilets were not very clean and the floors were dusty

Sognaporten is most definitely the best wayside restaurant in this country, better than any in England, Germany and Holland I have experienced in a long life. T... read more Sognaporten is most definitely the best wayside restaurant in this country, better than any in England, Germany and Holland I have experienced in a long life. The food is fantastic, the food is locally produced from local farms, and the service is rapid. It is worth the visit if you are anywhere near Sognefjord.
