Utsav Thali - Aurangabad

Excellent Maharashtrian thali served here by Deshpandes. The food is very tasty and quite authentic. If you are not a big eater, khichadi kadhi option can be used. Sharing is not allowed. Puran Poli and Khawa Poli are served hot when ordered. Toilets are good for travelers.

Today it was my third time to visit Utsav. It is specialized in Maharashtrian foods that also only Thali ..unlimited..today it was special day with Puranpoli as a sweet dish. The taste is authentic Maharashtrian. The Kadhi is not too sweet as in Gujrathi thali. The menus are simple with two subjee, dal, amati, kadhi, chapati, rice and kahichdi..Supported by coconut cutney, pickle, salad etc.

Ooo the food here, IT IS AMMMAZZING when you are around you, you need to try this place for a day. They give the most amazing Thali, that's much more than I just wanted coz it was that yumm

The food at Utsav is certainly good! I have become a regular visitor because of that and its courteous service! A wide range of items are part of the thali and everything is provided on sumptuously! The young couple that runs the restaurant is quite energetic and quite aware of our exact needs! My only suggestion is to please widen further the menu in respect of vegetables. Please offer at least six to seven vegetables every day instead of just three at present! Also let there be some change in the food items in the evening eatables!
