We really wanted fish and chips for lunch, but a well known shop was closed during the time of our visit. We were directed to this shop by a local. Enquired abo... read more We really wanted fish and chips for lunch, but a well known shop was closed during the time of our visit. We were directed to this shop by a local. Enquired about the fish and was told it was imported from New Zealand, so opted for a simple Toasted Sandwich and my Aunt an egg and bacon toasted sandwich. Almost fainted at the $7.50 price tag for each toastie. I expected something amazing for this price but was sadly disappointed on a bit of ham and tomato between to slices of your everyday sliced loaf. My Aunt discovered her egg and bacon covered in BBQ sauce, her most unfavourite accompaniment of all time. Would have been nice to be asked!! Gentleman serving was not friendly and never came to ask if we had enjoyed our meal, which we did not. I'm sure there must be other better options in this area, we should have looked further. :(
