Otto's On The River - Augusta

We had a wonderful experience and Kaylie treated us so well. She was attentive and best of all, kind. She’s a keeper! The food was excellent, nice and hot and cooked perfection. We’ll be back!

Our server had only been on the job for a week very sweet guy who should have been given a better wine opener and better training in pouring wine. No criticism of him at all. The seafood casserole was overcooked. There was no hint of butter. I asked for the lobster sauce on the side and my casserole was watery with over cooked seafood. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. There was an odd smell of diesel in the building that my husband picked up. Decor was fine and the menu looked good, but disappointing food.

The bar service was excellent, and the meal that I chose was delicious and the service was outstanding definitely would go there again.

Went to Otto’s to celebrate a friend’s new job. Great atmosphere. Wonderful server in Jackie. Good food. The Funny Bone fudge cake was scrumptious. Perfect setting and experience to celebrate my friend’s accomplishment.

My girlfriend and I went on Valentine’s Day with a reservation for 6:30. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and we had them at the table by 7:15. We ordered our main courses both pasta dishes and they still hadn’t arrived by 8:45 !!! when we decided to leave. This was an hour after the table next to us decided to leave as well. Had I known our food wasn’t coming, we would have left at the same time, but I just assumed ours was close the entire time. Our waiter was nice and tried to be reassuring, but when he said “your meals are the next things out of the kitchen” and then 2 plates came out in the next 20 minutes after, neither of which were ours, I figured ours weren’t coming. I heard other people who sounded like regulars say that it isn’t normally like this, and I believe them. But this dinner seemed unorganized and/or understaffed for the night of the year that our dinner was on.
