We stopped in for a late lunch and the restaurant was not very crowded. I got the enchilada and they were very good. We ask specifically for their special extra hot Sauce E for the chips and it was truly hot and good! Overall a very good experience. The food and service were good. What Alec Sime doesn't like about Margaritas Mexican:
Disappointing experience. Arrived with multiple friends after my wedding and asked for a beer and out of nowhere we were told we were not being served. They even refused to serve my 72 year old mother. After talking with the manager as he continually swung his lanyard of keys in my wife’s face he still would not serve us. Clearly on a power trip of some sort. We were staying at the hotel in the same parking lot and e... View all feedback.

As always, the food was excellent, our server was very attentive and personable. The atmosphere here is very relaxing, when I first moved back up here several years ago was cynical at first, but this Margaritas reminds me of one of my favorite haunts in Houston.
This place saved us.... Their kitchen is open late, and they're Mexican food is good. We were able to get a meal here, where everybody else was closed. Quesadilla was good, but small. The handheld burrito was excellent.
Food is subpar and the service is very poor. Based on listening to them it seems like the managers are awful and the staff is miserable because of it.
We went here last night after my wedding and were treated with the most disrespect i’ve ever received in my life. We rented these hotels all with the intention of going there after our wedding and walked in the door immediately being told we weren’t being served. my husband had TWO beers at our wedding and we were being told he was not being served. i spoke to the manager who seemed to have taken his manager role very seriously as he continuously swung his keys around in my face as i was explaining that no one was driving and we were all more then okay to have a drink. i then asked the bartender why we were not being served as they started yelling at me telling me they were going to call the cops on us. my husbands mother is 72 years old and wad asking for a glass of wine which was poured and then she was told she was cut off. the entire experience was such a disappointment nevermind the fact it was my wedding night. ZERO professionalism. i worked in the restaurant industry for 12 years and have never experienced anything like this before. absolutely unacceptable.
