We made reservations in advance and traveled an hour extr... read more Unfortunately a very disappointing experience at Studio Napoli yesterday, Friday, February 21st, 2025. We made reservations in advance and traveled an hour extra to spend a lovely evening there albeit with our dog. There was no indication during the reservation process, on the website, on Google, or at the door that dogs were not allowed. The waitress saw our dog as we entered and said nothing. Only when the boss came by did he curtly inform us that dogs were not allowed and then disappeared again without any further explanation. Since we didn't know whether this was an invitation to leave, we asked. We also explained to him that we had come specifically and that it would be helpful to communicate this rule somewhere after all, we could have been spared the journey and the disappointment. His answer was rude and disrespectful: he didn't have to write it down anywhere. The discussion ended with him telling us that we didn't need to come back which was over for us anyway. It's really a shame that guests are treated like this here. A friendly hint would have been enough, but instead we were rejected as if we were a burden. Respectful treatment should be a given in the catering industry unfortunately not the case here. But as we all know, pride comes before a fall.

The atmosphere in the Italian courtyard is so sweet and the service was so infectiously good that everyone in the room had a smile on their face. We had a really nice evening!
