We would have loved to try even more, but unfortunately, we were already a bit overwhelmed. We'll definitely be back to continue this culinary journey. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and its attentive staff. The chef is happy to take the time to explain the different dishes, which is simply wonderful. Thank you again for this delightful evening.

I was there with colleagues... read more 09/2025 This is my second visit to the Ethiopian restaurant Scheger in two months, and it was fantastic again on September 18, 2025. I was there with colleagues, and everyone was thrilled. 07/2025 The restaurant is a bit unassuming from the outside, except for the sign, but you'll be proven wrong once you step inside. Modern, traditional, and a tasteful touch of Ethiopia. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing. Very tasty and delicious. You eat with your fingers, just like in the country itself; don't worry, they also provide cutlery if you wish. I also loved the honey wine; it's served directly from a carafe, and I think if you're going to eat Ethiopian food, you might as well drink Ethiopian food. I was also pleasantly surprised by the country's own beer, and that's even though I'm a Bavarian beer drinker. This restaurant is worth remembering, and it's worth multiple visits. A wonderful establishment, and the five stars are fully deserved.

The owner is very friendly and explains a lot about the ethereal cuisine. The music and the overall atmosphere make you feel at home right away. And the highlight, of course, is the food! Wow! You eat with your hands, and it was so incredibly delicious. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
