The place looked abandoned to us. At 6 pm Thursday, not a single person there other than a German lady who also did the cooking and speaks no Persian or English. Seemed she was trying to do her best and wasn't very happy about being left alone. We felt sorry for her. Prices too high. The food substandard. The lamb meat was too tough. Bathroom dirty and no toilet paper or paper to dry your hands. Not even salt and pep... View all feedback.
Pretty oriental restaurant caffe in the augsburger district lechhausen. while they still live outside in the hectic Central Europe, immediately after entering into the oriental place is a hauch 1001 night opposite. the very friendly reception, the walls hung with Afghan carpets, the richly ornamented twister, the colorful mosaic lamps... we felt equally comfortable and welcome. the spectrum of Afghan, Uzbek and Iranian food is offered. for example pakaura, suppen , main dishes: much vegetarian, meat dishes from lavender, salad, sweet, oriental drinks., which we had not yet tried, we let ourselves down to the adventure and were rewarded for our curiosity. we tasted: sherbets refreshment drink based on saffron sauce; 1 times with mint and limette very tasty and refreshing 1 times on saffron garnet apple base we were thrilled mantu large teig bags filled with picnic cup meat, juggling, crumb unfortunately we only discovered this room for the end of our stay, otherwise we would have taken a place to let us take more of the oriental flair.
What I can say about the restaurant: Deliciously freshly prepared top quality! Very friendly service I can only recommend the restaurant! I'll visit it again.
Must try. One of the best Afgan restaurant I tried in Germany. My personal favorite for lamb dishes in Augsburg. Really delicious and authentic Afgan food. You take some time to prepare the order, but the food is worth waiting. It's a family restaurant. The servicemen are very friendly, helpful and polite. A nicely decorated seat is available at the bottom. All in all is fantastic.
Before, in Berlin, in Frankfurt, we tried various Afghani restaurants, none of them is as good as the food I tasted in Saffron! I really enjoyed the lamp soup and the hospitality of the owner. Had a great evening there
A little paradise for a big fan of Afghanistan and afghan cuisine like me. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The owner is living up to the high standards of Afghan hospitality!
