the edible was one of the first sushi restaurants in Augsburg and also a quite trendy local where we spent many evenings with friends. then it became louder, more expensive, worse ... . after some time we have now tried again and eaten for safety sushi (there are also hot dishes in Asia style). the sushi was not bad - but also not very good. Our first visit in the S-Bar (Sushi Bar/Essbar). on the search for a sushi restaurant in augsburg we have landed here. sushi and sashimi were fresh and tasty, the cocktails ok to good, service and service friendly and dedicated.Factory after a nice evening: it was certainly not the last time we were here.Not forget: Take-away is even a little cheaper. We were on the go with a group of friends, we did not only eat sushi and sashimi, but also drank the cocktails. service is really friendly and effortless so we personally liked us very well, is just something else.
After a long time we had again lust on sushi and decided to visit the trendy sbar. the Asian food (sushi, thai curry and alga lettuce) were quite in order, but also not better than in the popular Thai restaurants. the very good call from earlier, however, I can no longer confirm. as you say so beautiful - a restaurant is just as good as its service and this was really more than next. one of the two services stood silent next to us after a hardly noticeable greeting and looked at us. something irritated we ordered our drinks and got something else served. again she was stubborn, the hands were supported in the hips and with a very bored view before us - a request to order or similar was missing. that went so through the evening - "Banging food" "no good appetit" etc. we are no longer coming!
We were four in the edible and were all satisfied. it is augsburg and not Munich...So if you don't have the expectations of a top sushi restaurant, you won't be disappointed either. sushi and sashimi were fresh and tasty prepared. the salads were very good and also a noodle dish is recommended. the service is friendly but not overly endeavored. we will be back!
