Great food in a beautiful atmosphere. Indoors and on the terrace in summer. The food is delicious and the service is usually very friendly. We love coming here and have never been disappointed.
The restaurant was recommended to me but was told it was expensive. No, it's not expensive, it's high quality, and quality has to be paid for. Very easy. The space is beautifully designed clean, well maintained, with modern Greek aesthetics. No kitschy columns, no statues, no exaggerated decoration, everything is discreetly, stylishly and tastefully decorated, just as it should be. An atmosphere that really makes you feel good. The staff was friendly, attentive and looked after us excellently. We had a Cypriot salad with halloumi, arugula and pine nuts, fava with octopus and baby calamari and Mastelo cheese from Chios as starters. For main courses we had gyros with hand cut fries, the village plate and additional baby calamari. For dessert there were two excellent desserts with pistachios and white chocolate and a dessert with chocolate mousse light, fresh and very tasty. The restaurant also stands out when it comes to drinking: You can order tsipouro with or without anise, not the usual ouzo that you get everywhere. At the end you are politely asked whether you would like a mastiha or a limoncello – a lovely, stylish gesture. There is also an excellent selection of Greek wines (no imiglikos, Athos and table wines), as well as the excellent Mataroa Gin for real connoisseurs. At the end there was a perfectly made Freddo Cappuccino and Freddo Espresso and at that moment the feeling of Greece completely flowed through us. Bravo guys, keep it up! If my path takes me here again, I will definitely come back!
We came from Munich and spontaneously decided to have lunch at Poseidon and were very impressed by the quality and service. The atmosphere is very well maintained and there are comfortable chairs.
Disappointing experience. Food: nothing special. The meat is too cooked, very fatty. The service was inattentive and not friendly. The place is very loud.

It is a very decent restaurant in Augsburg. It is Greek cuisine. Make sure you taste sea food salad , fawa and garlic bread. Salmon and red gilt is also good.
Generous portions, pleasant atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. My gyro was delicious (no wrap or pita, just straight meat and onions), as was the tzitziki. Highly recommend, and wish I had found this place before my last night in town on a two week visit to Augsburg!
This is an amazing place. Could be NY here. Food is astounding… no words. Wine is amazing… recommend amethystos. During the summer months you can sit outside. My biz partners say it’s like an vacation every summer. I have been coming here for 4 years. We will never change our location. Tony
We ordered one simple gyros and a poseidon plate, so that we can have an ideea of the basic foods they serve. The rice was old, you could taste that immediatly. Too much meat for each portion and the quality of it was poor. It had a lot of stuff that you could not chew. The tzatziki was warm the youghurt they used for it, was very acid. For the prices they have, and the location, i expected much more. I do not reccomand

Very authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Augsburg. the location is really nice and the food has a high quality. Can it really recommend to anyone who wants to choose from a variety of Greek foods. The service was really fast and always polite.
Greek restaurant on Maximillian Street in Augsburg. The dishes are delicious. You should try mixed fish plate. And of course they offer Uzo. April 2022: The dishes are still delicious. They didn't offer Uzo. The menu has changed, but you should try the mixed fish anyway:
Really good restaurant. I recommend it for those looking for good atmosphere, service and Greek taste. The wines here are particularly remarkable, rich in taste and variety. Overall, the best Greek restaurant in all Augsburg and I might be all over Bavaria.

At the maximilianstr. let us say that we had eaten mile from the Augsburg city inside, we decided to pick up the menus for the Greek native. there is a beer garden in the backyard and they are not sitting on the way. the place is located at the end of the road near the ulrich church. the beer garden flatters. into the inner comes through a step down and to the toilets again through a threshold high. at the beginning we did not pay attention to the steps. parking is difficult here. there are some public, but they are very busy. the ladies and men in the service are all dressed in black and wearing a fur with logo from the local on it. we were welcomed very friendly and we were offered two tables for selection. the cards reached us quickly and we got time to look at the drinks in peace. they quickly came with a ouzo on the house and the question of food wishes. we hadn't read everything yet and asked for a little more time, which then upset us all who passed our order. if they still read, they can think that the hospitable is not yet crying. we want to read all the dishes before we decide. the appetizer came fast and was served with a nice one and we also got two teller with it. we were asked to clean up – was good and it was also taken with the serviettes and replaced with new ones. we do not often greet. the salat reached us in advance and there was again a beautiful one. while we served the food that came at the same time, we wanted a good appetit. there was no demand under the food, although they ran over forty times. the empty tellers noticed them immediately and it was asked if it tasted us. a demand whether we want something else did not come, so we had to catch someone to order a manowar dessert. we also shared that we would like to pay. he came shortly after with a proper document, thanked us, wished us a nice evening and gave us friendly. Beautiful and friendly they are . at the beginning and also end attentive, as between is still air up. 3 stars eat here there is a menu with printed cartons in the inner but already very worn. In addition, there is also an insert sheet with steak, surf and turf and burger. there are many grill plates made of fish and meat. vegetarian is here as a main dish only a veggi berry is difficult. we had two dark beer for each 3,50 €, as an appetizer peperoni from the grill with fine garlic sauce for 3,90 €, when a main course from the appetizer department was the mixed appetizer from the grill should be something meatless – aubergine, zucchini, filled tomaten paprika with cheese and crumb that the afterseenouzo had more. a really nice anis taste came through and tasted us. he was also nicely chilled. the 15 peperoni from the grill had been grilled discreetly, but sometimes with a very nice sharp. the fine garlic sauce consisted of some olive oil and garlic pieces with inside. a few dried crimps were scattered over it. we would have expected more under fine garlic sauce. the peperoni were delicious. as deko there was a haalbe cochtailtomate and rucola and here was used only for the luck writing with balsamico. we have a basket with 8 slices of bread. that was very fresh, had a nice crust, was lukewarm and tasted us very well. we also liked the addition salad. fresh mixed leaf salads, even babyspinate was included. Up there was a rucola, a radishes and a half cut cocktailtomate. under the salate there were still fresh white crimp salad, which was well pulled through and contained a few yellower puffs. the dressing also tasted us, excellently balanced in the acid ratio and from the slenderness suitable for us. the gyroscope was juicy with also crispy pieces, but partly with a little very fat pieces. it was well seasoned and on it were red wolves. kalamari was served everywhere, grounded and then spided. he had been cooked before place and had not become hard. here they should trust more of the spicy. there was no lemon to the choke. the rice was nicely cooked with even light bites. he tasted very dead, but was well tasted. he was refined here with paprika and bite and unusual for us with maize salt he had received. the zaziki was a little firmer in consistency, we prefer it a little creamier. there were some green things, we suspect petersilie. Knock was very discreet, but it was good. there was a half glass pane and an olive with a core of good quality. we also found that it was served in a dish. mixed starter plates the aubergins were super class, nice grilled and not on all fat. with the spicy one has brought out a very nice taste. the same was the case with zucchini, also delicious. the oyster mushrooms were grilled differently. partly nice crispy, but also a few pieces that were still a bit hard and needed more. from the seasons again great. the filled tomatenpaprika was peeled and heated, so that the cheese became slightly creamy. the announced crumbs, but we have lacked much, they could not taste that right. halloumi cheese was the first we had eaten. he was grilled by a little firmer resistance and he tasted us. zaziki was the same. but also here as with the appetizer, where was the fine garlic sauce. soße is not a bit of a barrely olive oil, in which the garlic was missing in pieces, even that was very discreet garlic taste. they should be more trustworthy here and if they write something, they should be present too. otherwise everything was good, sometimes more times less. the 3.5-star ambience of the beer garden is located in the backyard and at our visit very full. some guests were sent on. the tables are very narrow here, cozy in the rest with the favourite dinner is not possible here. one has tried to limit something between the tables with blown pots. large olive trees decorate the area and opposite the window frozen there is a stone wall. there are gray tables and gray alusessels, all here a gray seat cushion incl. rest are also available lemon trees. on the table there is a glass with tealight that has not been illuminated again. ash cup with wind-catching and salt and pepper mills. it would be so nice and cozy, but very close everything and the noise level also correspondingly loud in the filled beer garden. 4 star cleanliness tables were eroded here and also under the table whether someone has lost something. everything else was clean. on the toilets the usual dust traces. 4.5 stars
