Despite the average food quality and the unwelcoming service, this place is crowded at Saturdays (I have no clue why all these people are going there) ...so if you (after reading this) still decide to go there, you better book ahead. The booking however, will not guarantee you a table, our reservation and those of other guest waiting with us got lost. After we finally gut the table, we were rather disappointed about the atmosphere for a place naming itself a gourmet restaurant: Cheap paper napkins, the milk jug at the table was dirty and was covered with stains of skin dried milk on it. There are five or so different types of breakfasts available (plus side orders), we went for scrambled eggs with bacon (ok choice but not exciting) and what they call the gourmet brunch for over 18 EUR including ham, some cheese, some seafood such a prawn cocktail and salmon, a glass of orange juice (not freshly squeezed but made from concentrate), a cheap glass of sparkling wine and different type of bread (all of the bread was tasteless). The average tasting berry jam arrived once we were finished with our entire breakfast….. It looks like the only thing of gourmet class are the prices they are charging, the quality of food is nothing special neither is the service or the atmosphere. The entire place gives you the impression that they feel they don’t have to take care of the customers any more as guests are coming anyway – no attention to any details or focus on customers value. Bottom line: Try to avoid, look for a different place!!!
