We enjoyed out breakfast here so much that we went back to have coffee and cake in the afternoon. The restaurant has an „oldworld“ charm and a great location in the middle of Augsburg. The staff is really friendly and quick. The...breakfast with fresh baked breads Broetchen and fresh ingredients tastes very good. The cake we tried, Black Forrest and Mango Chocolate, was very good and no to sweet. What we really appreciated was the staff member who took her duty seriously and told an old woman who took off her mask and then started coughing and not covering her face to please put on her mask. I don’t understand why people are so selfish to endanger others by taking of their masks It works in Asia why not in the West? and having the audacity to then start coughing sneezing not thinking about the rest of us
This café is where local people since many years have an afternoon tea and cakes, meeting with friends or just enjoying hot chocolate. Yes it always full and the service may take bit long but if you re not in rush you can just relax...and enjoying afternoon with locals while waiting your orders. We try the hot chocolate and cakes, its good not so stunning but it was ok to enjoy the whole afternoon in Augsburg
We went to this place with high expectations but were disappointed. The cakes were average at best, the coffee wasn’t good either. The interior is beautiful, I should give it to them
Worst service level I have seen in all Bavaria. You sit there and you need to wait for a long time for a waiter to show up. If you have time and are not worried about that, enjoy the delicious cake... or order to go
The front is rather unassuming. When you walk in the door, you are greeted by a counter with the most amazing cakes and pastries. Head to the right and there are so many chocolates. Walk through the glass doors at the back of the shop...and you are in a rather oldschool, classy kind of café, complete with mirrors, coat racks and small tables. I had a really good, reasonably sized Greek salad, which they called small. My husband had a delicious kohlrabi cream soup. We took turns going out to the pastry counter to pick out what we wanted to order for dessert. There is no dessert menu, when it comes to all the cakes and pastries. You have to go pick them out. It helps, if you jot down the name

I don't think it's so crazy. The old room is pretty, but would have expected me more, especially for the price. Because the cake pieces are very expensive in house use, I think too expensive. They also taste good, but I find these prices unjustified despite the city center. The service was not so amazing, had to wait for someone to pick up the order. And I was sent to the standard counter for a cake search and had to give me a dollar. When I was back at my place, I had to advise her to wait forever for an operation that my Bon took. Waiting was announced from there until the order was finally enforced... well, as I said, this is better, much better.
Absolutely recommended! The facility is simple, but cozy. A speciality of dense is the strand variants and even the self-made chocolates I can only recommend. The café is very clean and the ambience for a coffee slipper on Sunday afternoon perfect. Friendly and attentive service.
For me, this is the best confectionery in Augsburg! In addition, you can also take breakfast outside and a meal in the summer! I recommend a piece of banana to everyone!
The furnishings are very elegant and modern. Also the service ladies look very good from the products are somewhat expensive, but nevertheless they taste very good. Especially the chocolates I find very good. They're so packed and looking for a little. And the service is very nice.
Our favorite cafe is the Cafe poet at Moritzplatz. The facility is simple, but cozy. Cake and cakes are simply unique, you can't do anything wrong because everything tastes wonderful. We prefer to go to the cake and cake day that takes place every Tuesday. There you can take as much of the buffet as you like and try everything.

We decided to stop for a cake and a coffee there. The inside room looks wonderful and the cake quite delicious. We went outside to enjoy a nice weather, waiting for our cakes and the waitress to order coffees with that. We waited , waited waited waited ... Then, after quite a while, one of the waitress showed and actually, made a round to serve every table because everyone had been waiting for her, either to pay or to order. We got our drinks and cakes. It was good but not exceptional. 15 euros is a bit pricey. W It seems that the waitress comes outside every 20 minutes to check on the customers. At least this is what we observed... Not an experience we want to have again. I am sure there are many other satisfying options.
When you crave something sweet... Perfect. Various selection, quality products.

The place is ok but not well located. They charged me €6,90 for an ice coffee (it contains ice, water, espresso and an little if oat milk). It was good, but €6,90 is a price I have never paid or seen in my life for an ice coffee. Not even in London, Zürich and expensive/fancy cities like that. Augsburg is NOT a fancy place at all. (It’s totally the opposite of fancy).
The place looks very nice and there is a rich assortment of sweets. We ordered two pieces of delicious cakes, one hot chocolat, one coffee and one Marzipan (the best I have ever had) and we paid around € 25; it is kind of expensive but it worths it. The only issue we had was that the waiter was joking about the tip we gave him, it is true that is was only 5 but he was not very nice from the beginning; besides that I totally recommend it.

My sisters and I had cake and coffee at the Bahnhofstrasse cafe on our way to Munchen. The cake with meringue and black currants was one of my all time favorites. I am still dreaming of having another slice! Good coffee. The male waiter in thecrestaurantvwas kind of grumpy. The lady at he counter was persoable and greeted us with gruss Gott !
