The coolest little coffee place in Sandton by far. I would usually be reluctant to praise a Cape Town import, but Bootleggers is the perfect mix of vibe and good coffee. The happy hours and burger specials are a huge plus and the delicious breakfasts keep me coming back. Service can be a little slow at times but generally super friendly. View all feedback.
28.06.2019 A quick drink and catchup with a friend brought us here. Simple, limited menu, which I think might not be for everyone. I ordered the Chai Latte, and we shared the Banana bread that everyone raves about. Rightly so, it was delicious, warm and toasty with some butter to slowly melt on the warmth. We also couldn't resist trying their truffles fries and hot sauce, also a winner that hot sauce is superb and had the right amount of kick to it.<br/ <br/ The staff were all friendly and helpful, unfortunately I cant remember our original waiters name...but they were all efficient.<br/ <br/ Need to go back and try their half price burgers after 4:30pm... mmmm<br/ <br/ #TheFoodMusketeer<br/ #TheFoodMusketeerEats<br/ #TheFoodMusketeerDrinks<br/ #TFMBootlegger
The first time that I visited bootleggers was in Cape Town. Upon hearing that they now at the Marc , I popped in for some coffee because that’s what they are know for. Needless to say when it comes to great coffee and consistency they are one of the best in town ! From flat whites to the cappuccinos and even the hot chocolate which my fussy kids rate highly ! Always worth a visit !
I'm currently obsessed with banana bread, and Bootleggers has an incredible version that really hits the spot. I also love their coffee and often stop by after my workout. It's a fantastic place to check out!
This is by far the coolest little coffee spot in Sandton. I'm usually hesitant to endorse a café from Cape Town, but Bootleggers strikes the perfect balance between a great atmosphere and excellent coffee. The happy hour deals and burger specials are definite highlights, and the tasty breakfasts have me returning for more. While the service can occasionally be a bit slow, the staff is generally very friendly.
I can confidently say that the banana bread is the highlight of this restaurant! It's freshly made and absolutely delicious—a must-try when you visit. On the service side, I found it a bit slow, and I had some trouble getting the waiter’s attention at times. Despite that, I’ll definitely return just for the banana bread!
