I don’t typically visit Sandringham, but on a leisurely Saturday, I decided to try this place. I ordered a vegetarian quiche, an almond croissant, and a hot chocolate. The quiche was packed with flavor and had plenty of mushrooms. The almond croissant was incredibly buttery and had a great number of layers—definitely a 9/10! The hot chocolate was just right, not overly sweet. View all feedback.
I visited today for a Saturday brunch, and I was impressed. The croissant and pain au chocolat were wonderfully flaky. The brioche bread was soft and generously buttered, and it tasted fantastic when dipped in honey. The Nutella paired perfectly with the croissant. I also tried the spicy chorizo galette, which was an excellent choice; the chorizo was packed with flavor, and the mushrooms were soft and creamy. Overall, it was a delightful meal!
I absolutely love their Eggs Benedict—it’s the best I’ve had in Auckland! The decor might be a bit dated, but for a local café, it’s more than suitable for a Sunday brunch.

A bustling little cafe in Sandringham with a menu offering a generous selection of French breakfasts and brunches. It was quite busy when we arrived, and the tables are close together making it a bit of a squeeze, but we found it very cozy and charming, and the service was excellent. We chose the french toast and were not disappointed. It came with a thick slice of brioche bread, banana, bacon and maple syrup; it was tasty and filling. We will definitely visit again.
Voila is a boutique French Cafe squeezed in to Auckland's haven of South Asian cuisine known as Sandringham. <br/ <br/ I decided to go all out for breakfast. I started with a chai latte which had a good consistency of cinnamon and milk. For meals I had French toast and ended with a banana and Nutella crepe. <br/ <br/ The French toast was served with a single piece of bread which was thicker than a Kardashian (See picture). This is a classic dish which they make very well. The banana, bacon, and maple syrup all complimented each other and filled me up. <br/ <br/ My banana and Nutella crepe was my first ever crepe. I underestimated how filling they are. I loved the texture of the crepe and the flavor combinations were sublime. My single recommendation would be to slice the bananas thinner. <br/ <br/ I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here and I'm already looking forward to more crepes.
