Taco Medic Ponsonby - Auckland

The food at this restaurant was delicious, the staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and the overall dining experience was outstanding! I was thrilled to discover that the restaurant is completely gluten-free and I can't wait to return in the future. I enjoyed a margarita, chips, fried chicken bites, churros, and tacos - everything was fantastic!

The nachos had delicious flavors and enticing aromas, especially with the guacamole that came at no extra charge. The textures were fantastic as well. We also tried the Esquites ($9), a grilled corn salad with hemp seeds and Jalapeño salt that can be made vegan with vegan mayo. It was very tasty. While the Sunseeker taco was not available, we tried the Kaimanga and the Producers tacos. The Producers taco was a bit dry, but the Kaimanga had a nice balance of flavors. I may not order the Producers taco again, but I would definitely order the nachos and Esquites every time. Another plus is that the restaurant is conveniently located near Little Island Gelato, where we enjoyed vegan ice cream. It was a perfect way to end our meal.

The restaurant offers fantastic vegan and vegetarian choices, and they are more than just alternatives without meat. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures because we enjoyed our meal too quickly.
