Have always liked the food here. Was my go to when I lived in Papatoetoe. Good food and accommodating service

First time customer and didn't disappoint. Vegetarian biryani was really nice and so was the mix vegetable curry. Will definitely try other dishes from here rather than driving all the way to Sandringham

Tried Southern Spice as a recommendation from a friend and I could not be happier. Perfectly cooked biryani, the lamb masala was a taste explosion on the palate. Succulent lamb and chicken, the heat level was spot on. Please never change your recipes!

A good economical option. We mostly do takeaways here and it has been good. A good variety to choose from.Their Indo-Chinese options and Biryani are spot on!

The paneer butter masala was amazing, the naans were fresh hot and had a great taste and texture. The veg Manchurian was also outstanding!! The vege buryani was quite good and a good large quantity for $10.Food came out fast and waitress was friendly and able to answer questions about the food. Prices are reasonable. The food came out within 10minutes. Some music for dining in would be nice though. some of the cutlery on the table was also not clean .will return again though for take out!
